Day 12: December 20, 2025.

Topic: The First Evangelists

Scripture: Luke 2:15–20: “…When they had seen Him, they spread the word concerning what had been told them about this child…”

Cross-Reference: Matthew 5:16: “Let your light so shine before men, that they may see your good deeds and glorify your Father in heaven.”

Reflection:
The shepherds didn’t keep the news to themselves. They went and told everyone they encountered. After seeing the Saviour, they became the first evangelists of the New Covenant. Their testimony was simple but powerful: “We have seen the Lord.”

True encounter always leads to proclamation. When your heart has truly seen Jesus, silence becomes impossible. The same glory that visited the shepherds now compels us to share the good news. This is not done out of duty, but out of delight.

Christmas is a call to witness. Like the shepherds, may your life overflow with the wonder of His presence. Speak of what you have seen and let your joy become someone else’s invitation to find Christ.

Prayer
Lord, thank You for the joy of knowing You. Let my life proclaim Your goodness. Fill me with boldness to share Your story with others this Christmas. Amen.
