Scripture:
Luke 23:42–43 (NIV)
“Then he said, ‘Jesus, remember me when you come into your kingdom.’
Jesus answered him, ‘Truly I tell you, today you will be with me in paradise.’”
Reflection:
The thief on the cross had nothing to offer. His life was marked by failure and sin. Yet in his final moments he turned toward Jesus with a simple request. His words showed humility. His heart reached for mercy.
Jesus responded with certainty. Salvation came instantly. A condemned man received a new identity. His past no longer defined him. Grace rewrote his story.
Transformation can happen at any moment. You may feel unworthy or late. Jesus still invites you to turn to Him. One sincere cry can lift you from guilt to hope. His grace changes what you expect from your life and what you expect from your future.
Consider these questions
- What parts of your past still hold you down?
- Do you believe Jesus can rewrite your story today?
- What step can you take to respond to His grace?
Prayer:
Lord, thank You for the grace that reaches me where I am. Help me release my past and trust Your promise. Change my heart and lead me into the life You prepared for me. Amen.
Takeaway:
Grace transforms your past and gives you a new future.
