“When Jesus therefore had received the vinegar, he said, ‘It is finished’: and he bowed his head, and gave up the ghost.” John 19:30.
As Christians, we often reflect on Jesus’ final words on the cross: “It is finished.” This powerful statement does not mean our journey ends once we accept Him into our hearts. Instead, it signifies that the price for our sins has been fully paid. Our responsibility now is to walk in faith and live in the light of that completed work.
PRAYER:
Dear Lord, thank You for the sacrifice of Your Son, Jesus. Through His death and resurrection, we have forgiveness and the promise of eternal life. Guide us as we continue our faith journey. We trust in Your purpose for our lives. In Jesus’ Name, Amen.
