Key Verse:
“Now the king was attracted to Esther more than to any of the other women, and she won his favour and approval more than any of the other virgins. So he set a royal crown on her head and made her queen instead of Vashti.” (Esther 2:17, NIV)
Reflection:
Esther’s story is a testimony of how God’s favour can elevate the humble and position them for divine purpose. A young Jewish woman, orphaned and far from home, was chosen by God to fulfill a destiny greater than herself. When she stepped into the palace, she didn’t rely on charm or beauty alone. She carried grace, wisdom, and God’s invisible favour that set her apart.
The favour Esther received was not just for her personal advancement; it was for the salvation of her people. God’s favour always has a greater purpose. It blesses us so that we can bless others. When His favour rests upon your life, it will cause the right doors to open, hearts to turn in your favour, and opportunities to align with your divine assignment.
Even in places of uncertainty, remember that God’s favour can crown your efforts with success and bring you into positions you could never reach on your own.
Application:
Thank God for His favour upon your life. Ask Him to use the opportunities He gives you to serve His purpose and bless others. Walk confidently, knowing that His favour can place a “royal crown” of influence and honor upon your life.
Prayer:
Lord, thank You for the favour that distinguished Esther and fulfilled Your purpose through her life. Let Your favour rest upon me today and position me for the assignments You have prepared. May I use every blessing You entrust to me for Your glory and the good of others. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
Declaration:
God’s favour crowns my life and positions me for His divine purpose.
